Mantle Packaging Machinery, a multi-award-winning family-owned business established in 1997, specializes in manufacturing entry-level food packaging machinery. Their products are widely used across supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, and farm shops. Additionally, M.P.M supplies complementary food packaging consumables such as ready meal trays and pizza discs, creating an all-in-one solution for their customers. The company is proudly "Made in Britain" accredited, maintaining a strong reputation for quality and service in the food packaging industry.

Challenge
As Mantle Packaging Machinery (M.P.M) expanded its operations and launched an online store during the early stage of the COVID pandemic in 2019, the company sought a more efficient way to handle payments. Previously relying on Worldpay for online card payments, M.P.M faced increasing frustration when Worldpay changed its billing structure, forcing them to reconcile each individual invoice manually. This shift not only complicated accounting but significantly increased the workload on M.P.M’s finance team, creating inefficiencies in their operations.
Adding to this, Worldpay's limited functionality — such as a lack of Pay by Bank and other payment options which customers increasingly preferred — and failed integration with M.P.M’s accounting system, Xero, further exacerbated the problem. M.P.M’s Managing Director Laura Sieczkowski began exploring alternatives that would streamline their reconciliation process and offer broader payment options for their customers.

Solution
